Torn Collection

Many of us have been torn away from our history.  As of today, the first woman’s remains were found in Africa – but very few of us relate to Africa as our beginning.

Through no fault of our own, we’ve been torn away or cut off from the fibers that connect us in many instances, not just the example I give above.

The intermittent weave on the ring bands is reminiscent of the Mudcloth or Bogolan weave of the Mali peoples of Africa.

This world tears at our edges and our core, but our beauty still shines through
